We are seeking a proactive, IT Support administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and assisting end-users with software, hardware, and network-related issues. As the first point of contact for IT support, you will deliver timely and efficient resolutions to ensure the smooth operation of IT services.

In addition to your technical expertise, we are looking for someone with exceptional organizational skills to manage support tickets, track service requests, and prioritize tasks effectively. The ability to maintain clear and accurate documentation, follow up on unresolved issues, and coordinate with other team members is key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Help Desk Management:

  • Provide first-level technical support for internal users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Diagnose and resolve IT-related issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware, as well as software-related queries.

  • Assist with the installation and configuration of hardware and software, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and secure.

  • Create, update, and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for internal systems.

  • Manage and monitor the company's IT assets, including hardware and software.

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient IT operations.

  • Maintain up-to-date asset and license records to ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new vendors and technology.

  • Assist in the implementation of new technology solutions and user training.

 

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and monitor cloud resources, including virtual machines and network configurations on platforms such as Azure

  • Provision, configure, and scale virtual machines and other cloud services as required to meet business needs like optimizing Endpoints for Flexible work.

  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of the cloud environment.

 

Networking & Security:

  • Configure and manage networking solutions, including VPNs, firewalls, and routing in cloud and on-premise environments.

  • Monitor cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and implement best practices to protect infrastructure.

  • Enforce security policies to protect both cloud and local IT systems, including identity management, encryption, and access control.

 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with IT team and Project Managers to ensure seamless integration of cloud IT solutions.

  • Collaborate with advanced IT support and other departments to resolve complex technical issues and escalated cases.

  • Continuously improve IT systems and cloud architecture by utilizing automation tools and script to streamline tasks and increase operational efficiency.

 

Documentation & Monitoring:

  • Maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and procedures for future reference and training purposes.

  • Monitor system and cloud performance, report issues, and ensure all environments are secure and compliant with relevant data protection standards

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support, help desk management, or similar technical roles.

  • Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both on-premise IT systems and cloud-based resources.

  • Experience with cloud networking (VPNs, firewalls) and security best practices.

  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages will be valued

  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

  • Knowledge of data protection and security compliance requirements will be valued
