Business Analyst Retail & Products

  • Hybrid
    • Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands
  • Advisory - Retail

Job description

Want to kickstart your career in consultancy? As a Business Analyst Retail & Products at IG&H you will be making impact at leading Dutch companies in the retail and consumer goods sector. You will help these organizations respond to new developments and deal with challenges in the market. As an integral part of a team of consultants, you will be given responsibility from day one: whether you are working on our clients’ strategy, implementing given advice or integrating new solutions.

What are you going to do?

In the Retail & Products team you will become part of a diverse group of skilled and driven people with whom you will work closely to deliver excellence to our clients.

Within the Retail & Products team there is no ‘typical’ project. Through close collaboration with other expert teams within our company we can help our clients with almost any challenge that they face in the highly competitive retail landscape. From strategy development to implementation and integration of in-house developed solution. We pride ourselves in being able to deliver end-to-end transformation and truly become a partner for our clients as we guide them through this journey. The topics of these transitions range from short projects to improve pricing to large projects to adjust the way of working in a Dutch warehouse. These broad types of assignments will be performed at an even more diverse client base ranging from Retail to Ecommerce, to Logistic Service Providers, to Industrial manufacturers, FMCG companies, Rental companies and the list goes on. In your first two years at IG&H as an analyst, we give you the opportunity to experience a wide range of different projects to help you develop your skills.

As a business analyst you play a pivotal role in supporting the project team on a daily basis. Your tasks may range from highly analytical problem solving, to more client-facing work as you prepare and present advisory reports to C-level executives, guide workshops and conduct interviews.

Next to working with colleagues from advisory, you may be part of a smart collaboration with consultants from other disciplines like Business Engineering, Data & AI or Transformation to support the customer.

Besides working on client projects, you will also be working from the IG&H office, developing new proposals and contributing to the firm’s expertise.

What’s in it for you?

On top of excellent employment conditions, working at IG&H will start your career through a steep learning curve. Apart from learning on the job, there will be ample trainings to boost your core consulting and people skills through our Junior Academy. You will be assigned to involved coaches, who will be there for you to provide you with guidance. Next to that, IG&H offers you an inspiring office in Utrecht, unparalleled, good working atmosphere, and abundant parties, fun team activities and sport events.

“When starting as a business analyst, you will join the IG&H Junior Academy. This academy offers you a complete program to fully deploy yourself into a consultant. At the same time, you’ll bring these skills into practice during day-to-day work on a client project with your IG&H team. You will also be assigned to a mentor, who will support you in your personal development and with whom you will draw up your growth plan. Besides the formal academy program, a lot of fun informal activities and trips with your fellow business analysts take place. This combination was very valuable for me and resulted in a lot of new friendships.” Christine van Wijk (Business Analyst Retail & Products)

“From day one, I was given significant responsibility and have since worked on a diverse range of projects, from strategic planning to hands-on implementation, ensuring a dynamic and enriching work experience. Combined with the supportive and collaborative culture at IG&H, this fosters strong professional and personal growth. These experiences, along with numerous opportunities for informal bonding activities, makes IG&H the perfect employer to kickstart your career.” Daan Tankink (Consultant Retail Retail & Producs)
